Depending Too Much On Emotions Is Ruining Your Deen.
And You Need To Solve Your Problems Today.

Behind every action is a feeling that feeds it into existence.
We often assume our habits are just the result of routine — what we’re used to. But that’s only part of the story.
What truly drives our actions are the emotions tied to our experiences, our pain, and even our hopes.
You keep reaching for your phone and scrolling endlessly — not just because it’s a habit, but because it helps you shut off the noise in your head. It distracts you from a reality that hurts.
You stick to that one show, not because it’s so good, but because it makes you feel loved, hopeful — even happy.
You return to that sin, not because you don’t know better, but because your brain has learned: “When I feel this way, doing this will help me feel better — even if just for a moment.”
Let’s say you waste time on your phone. The cycle might look like this:
You’re overwhelmed — life is hard, tests from Allah feel endless.
You finish work and finally get some free time.
Instead of using it for dhikr, Qur’an, or reflection, you scroll.
You get a quick dopamine rush. It soothes you.
Without noticing, the day is over.
You felt relief… for a moment. But the root problem is still there.
What’s happening is this:
You've trained your brain to seek your phone whenever you're stressed.
Trigger → Action → Reward.
Your brain remembers: “This brings me relief.”
But here’s the good news: you can rewire that cycle.
What if, next time stress creeps in, you pause and respond differently?
What if you replaced that reaction with dhikr, salah, Qur’an, taking a walk, deep breathing, or journaling?
We can teach the brain new pathways — through consistent, intentional steps.
I once read a study stating that people spend an average of 3+ hours a day on their phones, with most of that on social media or entertainment. If we’re honest — we're not spending our time wisely.
The Islamic View on Time
One hadith changed the way I see time:
"The feet of the son of Adam will not move on the Day of Judgment until he is asked about four things:
– His life and how he spent it,
– His youth and how he used it,
– His wealth, how he earned and spent it,
– His knowledge and what he did with it."
How had I spent my life?
What about my youth?
My wealth?
My knowledge?
That was a turning point. I began working on those four areas. But let me be real with you — I’m not “there” yet.
I’ve had ups and downs. I still struggle. I’m not your typical “I’ve made it and here’s my blueprint” kind of girl. Because I’m still in the middle of the journey — just like you.
And trust me: everyone is struggling.
Each of us has their own weight to carry — their own level of hardship.
But remember this ayah:
"Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear."
Your burden is tailored to your strength.
But whatever you can do — is exactly what Allah expects of you.
This Ramadan flew by.
So many people felt it.
And many still ask me constantly:
“When is the Last Hour?”
“Where is the Mahdi?”
You’re not the first to ask. You won’t be the last.
But Allah already gave you the answer:
"They ask you about the Hour... What have you prepared for it?"
So I’ll ask you too:
– How are you spending your time?
– How are you spending your youth?
– How are you earning and spending your wealth?
– What knowledge are you gaining — and what are you doing with it?
Your change starts now. Not tomorrow. Not in an hour. Now.
